MUSEUM PROJECT

Being ranked among Texas’ fastest growing Counties; it’s imperative that the history of our law enforcement is maintained for generations to come.   As stated by Thomas Carlyle, “The history of the world is but the biography of great men.”   Montgomery County has been fortunate to have some great men (and a woman) as our Sheriff.   In collaboration with the Sheriff’s Office, the Alumni Association is proud to be part of preserving the history of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The Alumni Association established the “Museum Project” as a means of assisting with funding of the display cases and other essentials necessary for the exhibits.  An extensive collection of memorabilia has been acquired such as weapons, uniforms, badges, and many other law enforcement relics each taking its rightful place in the museum located at the Sheriff’s Department.
