MCSCAAA Members Volunteer At 2022 MCSO Promotion and Awards Ceremony

May 27, 2022 - A group of several Alumni Association members recently served as volunteers at the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office 2022 Promotions and Awards Ceremony, held on May 17th at the Lone Star Convention Center, providing assistance with seating and serving refreshments at the conclusion of the ceremony. The event featured presentations by Sheriff Rand Henderson and his Leadership Team of numerous Service Awards, Promotions, Recognitions, Unit Citations, P.A.C.T Awards, Meritorious Service Awards, Lifesaving Awards, Purple Heart Award, Sheriff's Awards, Professional Awards, Compassionate Awards and Community Action Partner Awards, and as always was a very impressive occasion. The ceremony was attended by many local dignitaries, family members of recipients and other local citizens, and again demonstrated all the Agency does in service to the citizens of Montgomery County. Sheriff Henderson again gave special recognition to MCSCAAA members for our support of MCSO, as he always does. The ceremony concluded with a delivery to Sheriff Henderson by MCSCAAA President Debbie Lee of a Presentation Check in the amount of $152,326, representing the value of the 5086 volunteer hours recorded by MCSCAAA members during 2021 in support of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
